Intelligence Capability HQ

ICHQ manages central coordination and governance of the directorate as well as developing and implementing the future of intelligence in the NCA.

Teams include:

  • The Governance team – with directorate-level responsibilities for business planning, performance, risk, audit and communications & engagement
  • The People team – with directorate-level responsibilities for HR related functions such as recruitment and workforce planning
  • The Training team - with directorate-level responsibilities for Training courses and budget oversight
  • The Private Office for Director Intelligence

Professionalisation

The professionalisation team have a wide and varied portfolio of activity, including initiatives to identify and address intelligence risks, support professionalisation, pilot new ways of working, engage with corporate change programmes, and lead engagements inside and outside the NCA.
