The Applications (Apps) Tower is responsible for enhancing the NCA’s ability to source, develop and use applications that exploit data confidently and efficiently to tackle serious organised crime at pace and scale, as well as maintaining and improving business applications to support processes and ensure efficiency.

End User Services

Abilities & large-scale deployment, application packaging and distribution capabilities, print, scanning and output management capabilities, e-mail and messaging environments capabilities & large scale deployments, M365/SharePoint, technology rollout, supporting Information Technology Health Checks (ITHC).

Infrastructure

We are focussed on delivering the IT infrastructure the NCA needs to carry out the mission of protecting the public from serious and organised crime. The infrastructure Team are currently enabling our new IT systems, including Green and Violet. The team also supports existing services by keeping them up to date to minimise tech debt while improving them with new models and reconfiguration.

DDaT Capability Operating Model (DCOM)

Delivering DDaT's Supply Chain Transformation which seeks to transform and rationalise the NCA's technology services, with compliant commercial contracts and facilitate exit from expiring incumbent contracts.

DDaT Programme Management Office (PMO)

The DDaT PMO is at the heart of the DDaT Maintain & Improve Capital Plan and Digital Transformation, providing a consistent and coherent view of programme and project delivery as well as a single interface to the Investment Management Office.
