Anti-Corruption Unit

The ACU looks into all allegations of corruption against its officers, working to either prove or disprove these allegations to protect both the NCA’s officers and activity.

Professional Standards Unit

The Professional Standards Unit (PSU) helps to ensure that the NCA delivers professionalism, transparency, integrity and effective working relationships to our officers, the public and external partners.

Security Vetting

The Vetting team deliver NCA Enhanced National Security Vetting (NSV) clearances for both directly employed new recruits and non-directly employed staff. The team is also responsible for conducting vetting reviews and upgrades as well as managing ongoing personnel security through the aftercare function.

People Risk Management Team

The People Risk Management Team (PRMT) works closely with the above teams to identify, research, assess and report on threats and risks to the NCA, its officers, assets and information.
