Wendy became the Director General Capabilities and Chief Operating Officer at the National Crime Agency in September 2025. Wendy was previously Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer at NHS Blood and Transplant.

Wendy has a background in technology and data and has a track record of delivering new capabilities and transforming operations. Her career has been equally split across private and public sector and multiple industries including National Security, NHS and Oil and Gas.
