Required notification under s.339ZC of Proceeds of Crime Act 2002

The Requesting Firm (as defined under the Home Office Circular Criminal Finances Act 2017) is required to contact the NCA to receive a reference number for each request.
The Requesting Firm is required to download and submit the documentRequired Notification Form (39 KB) below through a secure email portal to: UKFIU.InfoManagement@nca.gov.uk (PGP enabled)
When submitting the Required Notification Template form the Requesting Firm will need to submit via an encrypted email.

PGP Step by Step Process

Requesting Firm will email UKFIU.InfoManagement@NCA.gov.uk to request a unique reference number.
This will be generated by UKFIU Information Management Team and added to the register.
IMT will then email the Requesting Firm with the unique reference number via PGP.
The requesting Firm will email the NCA with their PGP certificate.
The PGP certificate will need to be forwarded to NCA IT in order to be imported onto the NCA server.
Once the certificate has been imported to NCA’s system, UKFIU will respond by email to the Requesting Firm that the PGP certificate is installed and ready for use.
The Requesting Firm will submit the completed Required Notification Template form to UKFIU.InfoManagement@NCA.gov.uk using PGP.
IMT will input the information in to the register.
All future correspondence in relation to this matter will be conducted using PGP.
The UKFIU will send a return email (Template Confirmation of Receipt) using PGP.
Any SAR submitted as a result of this process must include the Reference Number, UKFIU will need to conduct periodic checks for this reference number to see if and when a SAR has been submitted and by whom.
