Know your UK firearms documents

This year, an increasing number of fraudulent firearms documents have been used in an attempt to unlawfully acquire legally held firearms.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) need the help of firearms trade and certificate holders to prevent legal firearms being unknowingly transferred into unlawful possession and to protect the licensed firearms community from people who intend to defraud them.

NCA social media house rules

These guidelines are in place to help create a safe environment for the public on all social media channels run by the National Crime Agency.

Sut yr ydym yn gweithio

Mae troseddau difrifol a threfnedig yn ffenomen byd-eang na ellir mynd i’r afael arno yn unigol. Mae’r NCA wedi datblygu partneriaethau aml-asiantaeth ledled yr heddlu, asiantaethau gorfodi’r gyfraith, y sector cyhoeddus, diwydiannau preifat ac yn rhyngwladol er mwyn arwain, cefnogi a chydlynu ymateb y DU i amrywiaeth o wahanol fathau o fygythiadau.

Yn ogystal ag arwain gweithrediadau ein hunain, mae swyddogion NCA yn cefnogi ac yn cydlynu gweithgareddau gweithredol, yn darparu partneriaid ag amrywiaeth o alluoedd arbenigol sy’n helpu i ddarparu canlyniadau cyfiawnder troseddol, adfer asedau ac atal ac aflonyddu gweithgareddau troseddol.

Mae gan yr NCA hefyd y grym i gyfeirio prif swyddogion heddluoedd ac asiantaethau gorfodi’r gyfraith yng Nghymru a Lloegr i ymgymryd â thasgau gweithredol penodol er mwyn cynorthwyo’r NCA neu bartneriaid eraill.

Rydym yn gweithredu ledled y DU ac yn parchu datganoliad plismona yn yr Alban a Gogledd Iwerddon.
