As Deputy Director Investigations Special Operations you will be accountable to the Director of Investigations for ensuring operations are pursued to the highest standard and against those crime groups assessed as causing the greatest harm whilst ensuring high levels of welfare and professionalism are maintained.
You will look across the agency and outside to nurture new talent and build a responsive investigations cohort who have the necessary skills to be deployed against the changing SOC threat.
As a Deputy Director you will:
Promote priorities, objectives and wellbeing to the directorate through clear communication of our organisational strategy.
Provide clear operational leadership to your team (comprising of PIP4 Strategic Crime Advisors and PIP3 Senior Investigation Officers) ensuring that investigations are conducted and delivered to a meticulous standard, with absolute integrity, as pat of a broader 4P approach.
Demonstrate effective change management and stakeholder engagement internally and externally to implement transformational change and operationalise the NCA strategy.
Embed an inclusive and modern leadership culture focussed on the recruitment, development and retention of diverse talent.
Lead transformational change within the Command developing tactics, capabilities and ways of working that respond to the changing threat environment.
Develop an inclusive leadership culture across your leadership team.
Maximise talent management and opportunities for learning across the directorate for high potential as well as professionalising the investigations community and seeking opportunities to address future capability and skills gaps.
